Halloween @ Castro

Thursday, November 2 2006

I’d like to start with apologising – due to complete and utterly ignorance – for bad mooting the American holiday Halloween based on the fact what I have seen in the UK.

I am s o r r y !!

I have now seen Halloween in the US and it was so fun. People dressing up, putting in such an effort into it, and walking around in the costumes during the day and they were fab!

In the evening, we went to Castro to watch the people. All my pics are over at my Flickr but these are my fav:

THE best one of the night Super good Paris 'n' Nicole

Update: And after we left, 9 people got shot in Castro.

I saw the photos of flickr.

    They are very interesting.

I am sorry that I can’t see people who dress up in Japan.
I could enjoy Halloween because of your photos.
    Thanks!

LMFAO @ The third one!!! I was going to blog about Paris Hilton and halloween today =)). What a co-incidence!

I read about that – glad you weren’t there when it happened. I’d hate for your first Halloween experience to be getting shot at a street party.

For Halloween I dressed as a homicidal maniac (in slacks and a sweater). We look just like everybody else. 🙂

    Reona, thanks 🙂

Slim, I said the same thing, bottle vs shooting someone is not in the same level of response. Madness. I saw P & N and shouted to them “Paris, Nicole a pic plz!” they saw the fun of it and I took one. Then the girls standing next to me started screaming big time like they were the real thing and taking loads of pic. In the end I had to ask MH if they realised if those girls realised that N & P were fake. I am not sure they did. But it was superfunny.

Cap, it was a bit eerie when we first heard about it (the day after), we looked at each other and both though “glad we weren’t there”.

We left around 21.30 (1,5 before it closed down) and had to stand in a crowd to get down to the Muni (the public transport) and already then it was kind of an issue.

LOL yeah must have looked real scary … especially in Kansas 😉

It’s a bit like Broad Street in Birmingham on any Saturday night!
