Uninstalled: Firefox 2.0

The latest version of Firefox just keeps on crashing most of the time. This added to the non-existence of a good internet connection at the moment, it was not helpful.
I have re-installed the previous version of Firefox 1.5.0.7 and you can find it here:

Too many extensions? It hasn’t crashed on my PC…

Can you list your extensions please? I dont see why it must crash so often, cause I have now installed it over 4-5 systems and been having no troubles!
Its spell checker is cool and the tab browsing though got an improvement with X buttons on each, needs the force tab option to be stronger.

I had Adblock and one spell checker.
I had real difficulties with Cap’s blog (I am not blaming Cap!) and the pop-up windows. In general it didn’t like pop-up windows. And every time it crashed, I choose to start a New Firefox session (it comes up as a choice after a crash if you want to continue the same session or start a new one).

Restore previous session is a great functionality! Now I don’t have to worry if the browser crashed while I was writing a witty comment to someone, it remembers every single word that I had typed before it crashed (not to mention the other pages). Maybe you changed the way pop-up blocker works…
Spell checker causes my browser a few hang ups, but only for a second or two. But other than this, I’ve had no problems. And I have tons of add-ons installed.

hey! Firefox 2.0 has its own Spell Checker inbuilt now doesnt it? I guess you dont need that spell check extension [if its an ext you're talking bout] anymore.
